About Us
Social, Political and Economic research Council (FOC, BHU) aims to “Enrich the roots of India by research and analysis of factual data”
We are a team of enthusiastic and ambitious students uncovering impact of frequent economic and political events on our social lives.
SPERC deeply dives into research and analysis through its wide spectrum of initiatives including primary data collection, reporting, publishing and analyzing economic reports by international organizations and central banks.
SPERC also organizes numerous debates, quizzes and various exhilarating events.

GAURAV DUBEY
(Founder & President)
Mr. Gaurav Dubey, founder of SPERC, is a leader with great farsight and vision. He has completed his undergraduation from FOC,BHU and is currently pursuing his Masters in Commerce at BHU. He is the Campus Ambassador of Save City in BHU.
He has been a part of NSS and Robinhood Army, doing his part in serving the community. He hopes to bring further improvement in the community with his dedication, handwork and insight through SPERC.
He instills great inspiration in every serving member of SPERC to do their best in serving the society as a whole.
Srishti Srivastava
(VICE PRESIDENT)
Ms. Srishti Srivastava holds the position of Vice-President in SPERC and is associated with it since it’s initiation. She is persuing post-graduation from FOC, BHU.
Motivated and passionate character driven with goals, bringing forth an effective communication skills. Looking forward to some positive changes in the society with her research work through SPREC.

Vaishali Mishra
( General secretary )
Miss.Vaishali Mishra completed her graduation from Sunbeam Women’s College Varanasi and is currently pursuing post graduation from FOC,BHU.
She is well equipped with public speaking skills and has represented her college at various state and national competitions.She has been an active core team member of Sunbeam in Enactus
India.
She completed NSS programme during her graduation days.She is striving hard and looking forward for achieving her future goals.mate.
Shivani
(Organising Secretary)
Miss. Shivani completed her graduation from Patna government college in BCom(Hons.) Accountancy and currently pursuing Mcom. from FOC, BHU.
During her undergraduate days, she was Co.leader of NSS. Also she had completed many certificates courses like SAP finance and controlling Microsoft office, e-filling training, soft skills and employability training.
She had also completed 3 months internship from Accenture. As of now she is working as low code application developer in Accenture (Gurugram).
Aniket Gupta
(coordinator)
Mr.Aniket Gupta is known for his management abilities.He completed his bachelor’s from Banaras Hindu University and currently studying M.Com from BHU.
He has been NSS coordinator and connected with several NGO including Emerging Yuva.
He has a knack in starting successful businesses as his startup kraaze.in has achieved to be profitable in early stages. He always remained business enthusiastic braced by his creative mindset.
Yogita Bajaj
(Public Relations Head)
Miss. Yogita Bajaj has completed her graduation from BHU in B.Com(Hons.) Finance . And Currently she is pursuing her master’s.
She has worked for Amway and Oriflame. And had led a team of 15 members there.
She works as a part time tutor. And has a part time affiliate marketing business too.
She aspires to make a career in research field.
Tushar
(General Secretary)
Tushar is a bachelor’s student at Faculty of Commerce, BHU. He holds a position of administrative Secretary at SPERC.
He completed his intermediate from Shivalik School, Naraingarh. His areas of interest includes stock market and finance. His quest for learning has brought him to be a part of this council.
He loves reading books, espicially non-fiction and researching on stocks.
Sakshi Raghuvanshi
(Social Media Head)
Sakshi Raghuvanshi holds the position of Social Media Head in SPERC . She is a post graduation student in Commerce from FOC, BHU.
She had worked with several NGOs in the past. She’s also a part time food blogger and is a selenophile.
Gautam Gupta
(Research Head)
Gautam is a first year undergraduate student at Faculty of Commerce, BHU.He is currently pursuing B.Com.(Hons.).He holds the position of Research Head.
He is currently working on his programming skills. He was also the head of his school’s student council. His areas of interest are coding and sketching. He is deeply dedicated towards his work.
He is currently focusing on cracking CAT exam. He wants to start his own business.
Himanshu Singh
(Spokesperson)
He has done his graduation (bcom) from university of Allahabad and now he is persuing his master’s in commerce from BHU (2021-2023) .Due to his high proficiency and good command over speaking skill he represented his school as a media anchor at a intermediate school competition held in DPS varanasi in 2017, where he was awarded with gold medal. He is a optimistic person who is always eager to learn something new.
He is dedicated towards his work and always tries to give his best.
Hrichik Dubey
(Social Forum Head)
Hrichik Dubey has completed his graduation in B.Com(Hons.) Banking and Law from University of Allahabad and currently pursuing his Masters from FOC,BHU.
He has worked as an accountant in various consultancy firms and is an active socialist.
He has actively participated in various debates and essay competition at school and college level.
He is also a part time writer and his area of interest includes sports and finance.
Dishantika Gupta
(Economic Forum Head)
Miss. Dishantika Gupta holds the position of Economics Analyst Head in SPERC associated with it since its inception. She is an undergraduate in commerce from FOC, BHU pursuing B.COM (Hons.) .
She is an ambitious and driven personnel with great learning ability.
She is courageous, confident and companionable in nature.
She has qualified BHU’s B.COM entrance exam. She has also served as Cultural Head in her school period.

Aman Chandravanshi
(IT, Technical Advisor )
Mr. Aman Chandravanshi, the web developer of SPERC, is persuing his graduation from FOC, BHU.
Aman has done his specialisation in Digital Marketing. He is also serving as a NSS Volunteer and NCC Cadet.
